Shortlisted for the 2016 Digital Leaders 100 award for Digital Public Service Innovation of the Year, as well as Best Digital Marketing Campaign – Public Sector at the 2016 Northern Digital Awards 2016.

The website for Fresh showcases the vision of a group of young people going through the CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services) with Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust.

The web experience also contributed to the Fresh group winning best Public Sector Campaign and best Healthcare Campaign at the CIPR 2015 Pride Awards.

The young people of Fresh needed an online presence, a platform to tackle the stigma that surrounds mental health with their own sub-brand, in their own way.

Taking a mindful approach, the home page simply asks “how you feelin’?”, based on the group’s hashtag promotion. Cathartic to answer in itself, this then leads to games, puzzles and advice looking to help challenge negative thoughts, release anger, improve mood or as distraction therapy.
